Shipping & Returns
To help reduce our carbon footprint, we operate under a pre-order business model for select items. This eliminates over production and uses less resources. Some items are produced to demand.
For select items we produce on demand, we aim to ship within 10 business days upon purchase. For stock items we ship within 1-2 business days. Delivery date will depend on the delivery method you have selected. Standard UK Royal Mail delivery is approximately 3-7 business days. Royal Mail International delivery is approximately 14 business days, DHL Express is 2-4 business days.
When choosing DHL express we offset the carbon emissions of your shipment by choosing the Go Green Climate Neutral option.

Taxes and customs charges may be applicable on orders from outside the UK. The rate thresholds of these charges differ from country to country, and are set by your local government. Conscious Citizen is not responsible for any additional taxes and custom charges that are payable during the shipment of your order.
These charges will be payable on arrival and will not be charged at the checkout. We recommend contacting your local customs authorities for details on your tax/duties threshold before you commit to purchase.
If a package is rejected due to fees not being paid and the package is returned to us with fees to pay, they will be deducted from the refund amount along with original shipping costs.
We have a 14 day return policy. This means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
To start a return, please send a request through our contact page. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please ensure your return package has your order number listed inside.
Please note that customers are responsible for all the fees involved for returning items. Return packages remain the responsibility of the customer until it is received by our team. Therefore, it is recommended that the customer takes necessary precautions by using registered and traceable services when returning the package. Please do get in touch for any return questions.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
